Formed in 2023 by Simphiwe Khumalo, Studio Bananaaa is a space created to experience ideas through different forms and mediums, including photography, fashion, film, music, art, and design.

Working closely with his friends Thabo Mthombeni and Katlego Motaung, Studio Bananaaa has produced short films, a kids’ book, a road rage sign, not to mention the beautiful handcrafted hats made by Simphiwe’s mom, well known as Mama’s Boy.
